Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator III to support and manage a hybrid mix of AIX, RHEL, Windows and VMware infrastructure. You will install, configure, upgrade and patch systems, lead disaster recovery efforts, and collaborate with security and architecture teams to automate operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of IT system administration experience across multi‑platform environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Appropriate additional experience beyond the minimum required experience may be substituted for education.
• Five years experience in the implementation, operations, development and maintenance of IT systems and/or administration of Software functions in multi‑platform environments.
• Strong understanding of design, implementation and sustainment activities of Information Technology systems.
• Experience with infrastructure management techniques such as change management, problem management, release management, configuration management and/or system lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of MS and/or UNIX environments including common suites and core business applications.
• Ability to develop efficient and effective program and system solutions for medium complex problems.
• Ability to automate tasks and document them for others to use; take direction from others.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computing systems and support software for business processes.
• Lead projects to timely successful outcomes when needed.
• Collaborate with architects to design automated solutions ensuring high-quality operations.
• Provide documentation and training for team members and partners.
• Direct and monitor system availability and performance improvements.
• Research, analyze and propose software enhancements or replacements.
• Advance disaster recovery planning and testing with scripting.
