Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, OH seeks an IT Internal Compliance Specialist to drive ISO 27001 and TISAX compliance, governance, risk management, and audit readiness. You will work with diverse teams to strengthen global security posture and deliver sustainable security solutions.

The role requires 2+ years in IT security auditing or GRC, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of security frameworks. Hybrid work is offered with in-office collaboration four days per week and one flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, CS, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years IT security auditing, compliance, or GRC experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, risk management, or audit methods.
• Familiarity with access control, network security, logging, encryption.
• Understanding of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ITGCs, ISO 31000 concepts.
• Ability to review configurations, logs, screenshots for compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal compliance reviews aligned with ISO 27001, TISAX, and control domains.
• Evaluate design and operation of security controls (technical, admin, physical).
• Prepare scopes, testing plans, evidence requests, and audit docs.
• Document findings, risks, and corrective actions clearly.
• Track remediation with control owners and sustain compliance.
• Support ISMS maintenance and audit readiness activities.
• Coordinate evidence collection for external audits and assessments.
• Participate in IT risk management and document security risks.
• Support third-party risk reviews and governance reporting.
• Contribute to security metrics, dashboards, and audit automation.
