Job summary

The City and County of Denver seeks an IT Architect to shape and advance the enterprise technology strategy. You will translate business direction into scalable architectures across infrastructure, applications and platforms, guiding standardization and roadmaps.

You will collaborate with TS leadership, business partners, and vendors to ensure alignment with value, performance and cost. This role requires strong communication and governance across teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years in systems architecture.
• Experience designing infrastructure, data, cyber security and applications.
• Ability to lead between business strategy and technical teams; strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and solution architectures aligned to TS’s technology strategy.
• Lead evaluation of new platforms, tools, and approaches.
• Guide right-sizing of infrastructure and applications for capacity and cost.
• Develop architecture standards, roadmaps, and governance.
