Job summary

The Minnesota State Board of Investment is seeking a detail‑oriented Investment Analyst, Performance Analytics, to lead performance calculation and reporting. You will work with investment staff and external providers to ensure accurate performance measurement, risk analysis, and board‑level reporting.

A CFA track is encouraged and experience with Excel and BI tools is valued. Reporting to the Head of Performance Analytics, you’ll support daily validation, reconciliation, and investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in financial services or similar roles.
• Knowledge of institutional investment concepts including asset allocation, performance, benchmarks and asset classes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office apps.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience communicating across functions and levels.
• Willingness to pursue CFA program.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and report portfolio and composite performance across asset classes.
• Generate internal and external reporting for daily monitoring, board materials, and annual reports.
• Maintain data quality across custodial, accounting, and internal platforms.
