Job summary

Parametric, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, seeks a driven Investment Analyst for its three-year program in Seattle. The role blends classroom training with hands-on investment work, supporting analysts across departments and client inquiries.

You will build foundational investment skills, learn Parametric’s approach, and collaborate on investment research and client-facing materials. Start date is planned for July 2027.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates ability to learn and apply quantitative investment techniques.
• Strong analytical writing ability and research capabilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate data sets and materials to support ongoing management of Parametric investment strategies.
• Provide analysis and assist in creating responses for prospects, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Utilize proprietary optimization software to construct hypothetical equity index portfolios for clients' goals.
• Uphold department reputation through professionalism, accuracy, and client service.
• Contribute and adopt ideas to improve efficiency and reduce risk and enhance client experience.
• Develop knowledge of all relevant Parametric products.
• Undertake professional development such as CFA pursuit.
• Assume other responsibilities as required.
