Job summary

Toyota Research Institute (TRI) offers a paid 12-week internship in a hybrid in-office role in California. The selected intern will contribute to automated reasoning with multiscale physics-based battery models, benchmarking against existing software, and integrating new methods under the AMDD program.

You will build and research multiscale models, analyze data from battery experiments, and collaborate with scientists and engineers to accelerate materials research and translation to practice

Qualifications

• Research multiscale physics phenomena required in battery modeling.
• Data analytics for experimental battery design and testing.
• Identify key materials understanding that enable translation of existing models to new materials.
• Develop new reasoning models incorporating multiscale physics.
• Collaborate with the team on automated reasoning methods.
• Present findings within the team and to the greater group.
