Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) seeks interns for its Year-Round Internship Program in Chicago or Dallas. The program runs January–December 2027, with up to 1,000 hours total and a hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office presence most days.

Interns will support risk management analytics, stress testing reporting, and data-driven insights using Tableau, Alteryx, Python, and SQL. 20 hours weekly during school and up to 40 hours in summer apply, with a 1,000-hour cap.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance or Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily reporting focusing on stress exposures that inform senior management.
• Execute monthly regulatory-requirement reporting via Stress Test Working Group.
• Build analytics for products and stress testing treatment of those products.
• Automate alerting to highlight significant changes in overall Clearing House exposures.
• Analyze results and draft summaries of exposures for clearing members in stress testing and margin risk.
• Assist in refactoring reports in preparation for Ovation rollout for OCC.
