Job summary

Pope Design Group is seeking an Interior Designer to translate client requirements into concept and construction documents. You will collaborate with an integrated team to develop design solutions and detailed drawings for diverse projects.

The role emphasizes workplace and healthcare environments, Revit-based documentation, and a flexible hybrid work setup. A Bachelor’s in interior design and 5+ years of experience are expected, with NCIDQ/CID a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience. NCIDQ certificate holder and CID a plus.
• Experience in workplace and/or healthcare environments.
• Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and other design software, with emphasis on 3D presentation.
• Solid understanding of interior design principles, practices and concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities with some guidance.
• Excellent organization and time management; detail oriented and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Collect client space requirements and develop plan layouts with the project team.
• Develop design concepts, color/finish materials and furniture selections for projects of varying size.
• Work with project team on development and documentation of design solutions.
• Coordinate and specify interior furniture.
• Participate in development of construction documents using Revit.
• May attend client/project interviews.
• Manage interior design portion of a project, preparing design and presentation materials, renderings and construction documents.
• Stay current with design trends, products and materials.
