Job summary

Pope Design Group is seeking an interior designer to join our collaborative Interiors Team in Saint Paul, MN. You will develop design concepts, coordinate documentation, and create compelling presentations alongside a project team and PM.

The role emphasizes client-facing communication, design development, and construction documentation using Revit. Requires a Bachelor’s in interior design with 3+ years of experience; NCIDQ certification or active pursuit is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience; NCIDQ certified or actively pursuing; CID a plus.
• 2+ years of workplace interiors experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and other design software with emphasis on 3D presentation.
• Good knowledge of applying interior design principles, practices and concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability to changes.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities with guidance.
• Proven organization and time management; detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Collect client space requirements and develop plan layouts with project team.
• Develop design concepts, color/finish materials and furniture selections.
• Work with project team on development and documentation of design solutions.
• Coordinate and specify interior furniture.
• Assist with preparing design presentation materials and renderings.
• Participate in development of construction documents using Revit.
• Attend client/project interviews when needed.
• Develop interior design portions of projects with clear scope, schedule and budget considerations.
• Stay current with latest design trends and materials.
