Job summary

Chamberlain Advisors, LLC is seeking an experienced Interior Designer II in Milwaukee, WI to develop innovative interiors for commercial spaces. You will work with senior designers, architects, and construction teams to translate branding into functional environments that meet client objectives and business needs.

The role emphasizes concept development, space planning, construction documentation, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional interior design experience in commercial environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; experience with 3D visualizations.
• Experience designing millwork, lighting layouts, and coordinating finishes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers and project teams to develop creative, functional interiors aligned with client branding.
• Develop interior space plans, elevations, and 3D models to communicate concepts.
• Prepare detailed interior design documentation, finish plans, lighting, millwork, and furniture layouts.
• Coordinate with architects, PMs, vendors, and consultants to reflect design intent.
• Review drawings, budgets, and documentation to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Assist with client presentations and maintain clear communication throughout projects.
• Support construction administration and respond to shop drawings and clarifications.
• Coordinate with furniture, branding, and AV partners for selections and installations.
