Job summary

Harrell Design + Build in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Interior Designer / Interior Architect for a full-time, onsite role. You will own the client journey from concept through construction, meeting prospects, presenting design agreements, and leading projects to permit-ready plans.

With 5+ years of design and sales experience, you will guide clients on finishes and space planning, collaborating with CAD specialists and engineers. CID/CKD/CBD certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven design & sales experience with varied project sizes
• Strongspace planning and design skills across residential interiors

Responsibilities

• Meet, qualify, and build relationships with prospective clients
• Present and sell design agreements and construction contracts
• Lead projects from concept design to construction documents
• Collaborate with CAD specialists and engineers to produce permit-ready plans
• Guide clients through design decisions, materials, and finishes
• Develop layouts, cabinetry plans, lighting/electrical plans, and space planning solutions
• Attend key on-site meetings
• Support projects through construction to ensure design intent is executed
• Participate in marketing events and proactively generate new client leads
