Job summary

Talent Shift is seeking an Interim CFO for a project-based assignment, based in Orem, Utah. The role will lead all finance activities, ensuring continuity of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations during the interim period.

You will partner with the controller and accounting team, oversee lender reporting and covenant compliance, monitor liquidity, and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Residence in the continental U.S.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead all finance activities during the interim period, ensuring continuity of reporting, planning, and financial operations.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and recovery plan tracking.
• Oversee lender reporting, covenant compliance, leverage reporting, and monthly lender communications.
• Provide actionable financial insights to executive leadership, sponsors, and board stakeholders.
• Monitor liquidity, funding requirements, and business performance against recovery objectives.
• Partner with the controller and accounting team to ensure timely close, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Track the financial impact of marketing and operational improvement initiatives on revenue and profitability.
