Confidential Employer in Dallas is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our respected civil litigation defense team. You will handle general liability, commercial transportation, and multiparty matters while gaining hands-on trial experience.

This hybrid role requires active Texas Bar license and 1+ years of civil/insurance defense; three days in the Dallas office and two remote days each week.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ years of civil litigation defense or insurance defense experience.
• Hands-on experience with discovery, depositions, and substantive motion practice.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent businesses, insurers, and clients in general liability and civil defense litigation.
• Handle complex personal injury defense, commercial transportation, trucking, and multiparty matters.
• Investigate claims, evaluate liability and damages, and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, manage written discovery, and prepare substantive motions.
• Take and defend depositions and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, and claims professionals.
• Manage cases with increasing independence while collaborating with experienced trial attorneys.
