Mercer, a Marsh business, is seeking an Institutional Investment Consulting Associate to support investment advice for institutional clients and collaborate with experts to build portfolios, evaluate asset managers, and analyze portfolio performance.

You will ensure clear communication of critical updates, assist in managing consulting relationships, and contribute to impactful client outcomes through project management and timely deliverables.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in business or investment-related subjects.
• 2-5 years of relevant investment experience.
• Actively pursuing or willing to obtain the CFA, CAIA, CIMA, or CIPM designation.
• Knowledge of performance calculations, risk metrics, and portfolio construction.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Examine and monitor developments at investment management firms and communicate updates to clients.
• Manage projects with timely, high quality client deliverables, delegating work to analysts, providing guidance, and ensuring peer review.
• Thrive in an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
• Produce accurate and detailed client reports through analysis of client-specific investment data, ongoing investment performance, and manager monitoring.
• Liaise with investment managers and custodians to gather data for reporting or client-related matters.
• Support investment manager searches, investment structure reviews, mutual fund selection, asset allocation studies, and other investment-related activities.
• Participate in quarterly or ad-hoc client meetings.
• Analyze and edit investment policy statements and conduct strategic portfolio structure and asset allocation analysis.
