Job summary

CORE Transformers is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive customer growth for the Power Division. You will be the first contact for customers, grow sales with existing accounts, and coordinate with Outside Sales to pursue opportunities.

The role balances a work-from-home setup with an on-site presence at the Rhome, Texas location as the facility is completed. You will quote quickly and accurately, own quotes to close, and maintain clean CRM/ERP records while building genuine customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field; not required.
Experience in the electrical industry is required; transformer industry preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accurate documentation.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume quoting environment.

Responsibilities

Quote customers by gathering requirements, checking inventory, and proposing the best solution.
Own each quote from initial contact through purchase order close and follow up.
Collaborate with internal teams to quote workable solutions when standard products don’t fit.
Book orders with complete documentation and hand off to the appropriate team.
Maintain accurate customer, quote, and order records in CRM/ERP systems.
Support Outside Sales and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or website.
