Job summary

Nexair-LL in Arkansas seeks a Backup Route Driver to support delivering compressed gas cylinders and other products. You will safely load, transport, and deliver to customers, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain DOT documentation.

This role requires a CDL A or B with HazMat, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 150 pounds. You must meet DOT physical standards and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year driving experience.
• CDL A or B with HazMat.
• Employee must meet all DOT physical qualification standards.
• Clean MVR driving record.
• Ability to read MSDS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and build good relations with customers, vendors, coworkers and management.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver compressed gas cylinders and hard goods to customers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Complete required DOT/FDA documentation accurately.
• Track deliveries and pickups using handheld technology.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate customer needs to minimize emergency deliveries.
