Job summary

Forbes is seeking an Engineer II, Infrastructure, to design, implement, and support Forbes' corporate technology infrastructure for a remote and hybrid workforce. The role emphasizes email security (Mimecast), endpoint management, identity services, and collaboration platforms, with three in‑person days weekly at our Jersey City, NJ headquarters.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Corporate IT/Infrastructure, 3+ years Mimecast administration, and strong experience with Intune, Jamf Pro, Okta,

Qualifications

5+ years in Corporate IT, Endpoint Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
3+ years hands‑on Mimecast administration or similar gateway platforms.
Strong email security background including SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
Hands‑on with Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Jamf Pro.
Deep knowledge of Windows and macOS administration.
Experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
Solid endpoint security tooling experience (CrowdStrike or equivalent).
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with networking basics (Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
Scripting: PowerShell or Python preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer the email security gateway and policies (Mimecast, Proofpoint, or similar).
Maintain SPF, DKIM, DMARC and improve deliverability and anti‑spoofing defenses.
Investigate phishing, BEC, and impersonation attempts.
Lead email security awareness and phishing simulations with Cybersecurity.
