Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure architecture experience, with substantial on-premises/hybrid focus.
• Deep knowledge of compute, storage (SAN/NAS), virtualization, network connectivity, and VDI technologies.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure migrations in data center/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, network, VDI, resilience/DR, and observability.
• Assess current on-premises/hybrid infra and identify modernization opportunities grounded in business needs.
• Lead migrations including data center consolidations and phased on-prem-to-hybrid transitions.
• Develop roadmaps and modernization strategies across legacy, hybrid, and cloud components.
• Define target-state architecture incorporating cloud where valuable, not default.
• Design and support AWS serverless components as part of the hybrid architecture.
• Establish standards for resilience and disaster recovery across domains.
• Build observability practices across the infrastructure stack.
• Collaborate with security and platform teams to meet compliance and performance requirements.
• Translate infrastructure decisions into business risk, cost, and timeline terms.
