Job summary

Northstrat Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to orchestrate OTA software deployments to globally fielded systems in DDIL environments.

The role emphasizes secure, automated deployments, remote health monitoring, and hybrid on-premises/cloud operations to minimize FSR travel and maximize fleet availability. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, security-focused, with strong Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and network engineering skills, plus DoD TS/SCI clearance and experience with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and systems administration
• DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) or better
• Strong Linux administration experience in production environments

Responsibilities

• Write Dockerfiles and build hardened images
• Integrate builds into CI/CD pipelines
• Manage cluster operations and workload management in Kubernetes
• Configure and monitor RBAC, networking, and security policies
• Administer Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), patches, and automations (Bash/Python/Ansible)
• Monitor health remotely in DDIL connectivity environments and troubleshoot production issues
• Troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, VLANs, routing (BGP/EIGRP), and switching
• Maintain firewall policies and intrusion prevention systems
• Support virtualization platforms and cross-layer troubleshooting
