Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to define enterprise infrastructure patterns across on-prem data centers and the public cloud. You will drive standardization, automation (IaC), and best practices for security, observability, backup/DR, and lifecycle planning.

The role includes chairing the architecture review board, creating reference architectures and roadmaps, and partnering with leadership to deliver a globally standardized infrastructure vision.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in technology delivery and implementation.
• 7+ years’ global/large-scale/enterprise solution and platform development.
• 7+ years’ hands on experience with Azure or AWS implementations.
• Extensive experience in front-end and back-end integration design.
• Experience with architecture review boards and reference designs.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise infrastructure patterns across on-prem and cloud.
• Lead standardization of automation, security controls, and monitoring.
• Ensure availability, performance, and capacity planning with SLOs.
• Develop roadmaps, vendor evaluation, and FinOps aligned with budgets.
• Contribute to architecture review board and reference architectures.
