Job summary

Colorado PERA is seeking an Information Security Analyst I to monitor security events, investigate vulnerabilities, participate in system security reviews, and support day-to-day security operations. The role requires knowledge of Windows domain administration, incident response, vulnerability scanning, and virtualization technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in technical field or one year experience in technical role.
• Experience with Windows/Linux administration and security concepts.
• Familiar with reading configuration documents, security alerts, and log data.
• Comfortable responding to security incidents and performing platform upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Responds to information security alerts from SIEM, firewall/proxy, AV/EDR, IDS/IPS, email gateways, and other systems.
• Assists with vendor onboarding, IRQ assessments, and vendor management.
• Administers security tech within the program; acts as first line of contact for user support.
• Troubleshoots applications, servers, and key security services to maintain IT posture.
• Maintains access management systems and assists with PAM upgrades and planning.
• Supports GRC tasks including audit reviews and data governance.
