Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Designer to shape next-generation small kitchen, garment, and personal care appliances for brands like Black+Decker and Remington. You'll join a cross-functional team and help translate user insights into compelling product solutions.

This hybrid role offers home-based days on Monday and Friday with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday. Relocation assistance may be available and will be evaluated case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design required.
• Portfolio demonstrating design solutions required.
• Role not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of innovative, user-friendly small appliances.
• Create concept sketches, mood boards, and renderings to communicate ideas.
• Produce 3D models and CAD drawings using SolidWorks or Fusion360.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to select materials and processes.
• Prototype development and iteration based on feedback.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve design.
