Job summary

You will lead faculty development, manage budgets, recruit staff, and ensure seamless collaboration with campus services while delivering both on-campus and virtual teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• State licensed (or eligible) physical therapist in academic program.
• Advanced doctoral degree with proven scholarship and service.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in academic programs.
• Prior teaching experience in therapy education; grad admin exp preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and delegation skills.
• Experience with data analysis and student outcomes.
• Experience collaborating and building teams.
• Familiarity with remote/online learning environments and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Implement program goals and policies consistent with university directives.
• Collect and present outcome data for program requirements.
• Participate in Program Director Council for policy development.
• Oversee core and contributing faculty in the professional program.
• Supervise training and development of core faculty.
• Recruit and hire contributing faculty and lab assistants.
• Oversee local clinical education office duties and development.
• Coordinate with facilities, other leadership, and student services for satisfaction.
• Plan special events and manage local program budget resources.
• Supervise students and address issues like complaints and misconduct.
• Manage workload up to 0.5 FTE for teaching balance.
• Engage in service and scholarly activities; participate in marketing.
