Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. is hiring an Entra ID & AD Architect (SME) to own hybrid identity design and operations in a global, security-driven environment. The role focuses on on-prem AD, Entra ID, and Entra Connect/Cloud Sync, delivering scalable identity solutions and incident response coordination.

The candidate will configure SSO/SAML/OIDC, enterprise apps, dynamic groups, and governance features, while mentoring engineers and producing authoritative documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in the field.
• Experience designing hybrid identity architectures spanning on-prem AD and cloud IdP.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for hybrid identity (on-prem AD, Entra ID, Entra Connect/Cloud Sync).
• Design and document target-state identity reference architectures with authentication flows and forest/domain design.
• Configure and optimize Entra ID capabilities (SSO/SAML/OIDC, App registrations, App Proxy, B2B/B2C, dynamic groups).
• Automate identity operations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Partner with SecOps on identity threat detection and incident response; act as Tier 3 escalation.
• Produce high-quality docs: HLDs/LLDs, runbooks, architecture decision records; mentor engineers.
