Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification required.
• 2–5 years of ICT or low-voltage design experience in the AEC industry.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, NEC, and related standards.
• Proficiency in Revit with experience producing and coordinating low-voltage design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop ICT system designs for complex projects and produce calculations and documentation with limited supervision.
• Manage Revit models and low-voltage system views to support deliverables.
• Perform calculations for cabling distances, voltage drops, and equipment loads; apply results to design decisions.
• Coordinate across architects, structural, and civil engineers.
• Support site visits, field reports, punch lists, and construction administration.
• Contribute to QA/QC by reviewing design accuracy and standards compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in client meetings and proposals.
