Target in Florence, KY is hiring a Senior Human Resource Specialist in a hybrid role to support HR directors and keep field HR operations running smoothly. You will act as a first point of contact, help maintain compliance, and contribute to cyclical HR processes.

Responsibilities include tracking HR metrics, calendar coordination, training, interviews, and special projects while collaborating with HR leadership and field partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HR functions and provide general administrative support for HR leadership.
• Report directly to the Human Resources Director and support various field leaders.
• Track and compile HR metrics, including diversity, turnover, performance management, headcount, and other measurements for the HR team.
• Assist with calendar management, meeting planning, booking travel, and expense support.
• Coordinate training, interview activities, and leadership development events.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Act as a first point of contact for the business.
• Support compliance and the integrity of team member information to gather data and enable cyclical HR process execution.
• Help create a positive experience for team members during organizational change.
• Use information and partnership with leaders to support team building aligned to specific business goals.
