University of Texas at Austin is seeking an HR Service Center Representative to provide first-line campus support for records inquiries and training across benefits, retirement, and leave management. The role supports employees, retirees, and applicants with confidential data handling in a hybrid work environment.

You will retrieve records, manage I-9s, background checks, and HR reporting while staying compliant with state employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or equivalent, or four+ years HR experience with a high school diploma.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist campus stakeholders via phone, email, USPS, online portal and in person, handling benefits, retirement, leave, employee relations and compensation inquiries.
• Perform record retrieval, open records requests, audits, time/absence, background checks, I-9s and reports to maintain digitized personnel files across HRIS and legacy systems.
• Serve as SME to campus, providing advanced help and training on time and absence, I-9s, E-Verify, background checks and HR policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
