Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an HR Operations Specialist to staff the HR reception, assist with Workday HCM transactions, and triage employee inquiries. The role supports onboarding, I-9 verification, and maintains confidential records.

You will work at the campus and remotely part-time, collaborating with HR and other teams to ensure smooth service delivery and accurate data handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of general office experience or customer service exposure.
• Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a team.
• Preferred: 1 year HR or Workday HCM experience.

Responsibilities

• Staff the HR front desk/reception and triage HR emails.
• Provide I-9 verification and assist with onboarding.
• Support day-to-day end-user HR transactions (Tier 1 and II).
• Answer multi-line phones and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and documents.
