Qualifications

• Knowledge of human resources administration, employee and labor relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, federal and Minnesota employment laws.
• Ability to interpret laws, policies, procedures, and labor agreements while advising leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budget development and monitoring and support special projects.
• Prepare reports, resolutions, and agenda materials for the County Board.
• Coordinate data practices compliance and respond to public data requests.
• Direct and administer HR programs, policies, and practices including recruitment and labor relations.
• Participate in collective bargaining, grievance resolution, and contract administration.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field
