Job summary

Corva seeks a Predictive Drilling Solutions Engineer to become the technical owner of one of the company’s most advanced technologies. You will deploy, scale, and optimize Predictive Drilling across operators, contractors, and basins, collaborating with Product Management, R&D, and Field Engineering to maximize value for customers.

Your role requires leading deployments, guiding live operations, and translating feedback into product improvements that expand automation and efficiency in drilling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Typically 5–10 years of experience in drilling engineering, drilling optimization, drilling operations, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of drilling mechanics, hydraulics, BHAs, torque and drag, and drilling dysfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployments of Predictive Drilling, including deployment planning, configuration, readiness validation, and customer onboarding.
• Support customer objectives across diverse rigs, BHAs, formations, and drilling environments.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
• Provide technical guidance during live operations and support customers in applying Predictive Drilling to drive drilling optimization.
