Job summary

Bunkhouse Hotels in Austin is seeking a Part-Time Host/Server Assistant for the Equipment Room. You will welcome guests, seat them, and support the Equipment Room team while training as a host and server assistant.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, conflict resolution, and familiarity with hospitality policies. This role blends front-of-house duties with events support in a boutique setting.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
• Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. Property Management System).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus and information on establishment features.
• Ensure prompt and courteous service in coordination with dining staff.
• Receive and record patrons' dining reservations using Resy.
• Maintain communications with Kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service.
• Assist in planning functions or other special events as needed.
