Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experience with similar work assignments/roles, and responsibilities preferred or RHIT/RHIA in lieu of experience.
• Internal candidates: combination of above qualifications with proven success considered within HIM leader discretion.
• RHIA or RHIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Release of information tasks for walk-in requests, subpoenas, search warrants, and other requests.
• Process subpoenas and legal documents, and manage disclosures requests.
• Scan/index/validate documents into EHR and document imaging systems.
• Support audit and quality analysis of medical records and regulatory compliance.
• Provide high-quality customer service to callers/visitors of the HIM Department.
