Job summary

AprilAire is seeking a High Volume Recruiter to hire for seasonal and full-time production roles at our Madison, WI manufacturing facilities and Westport distribution center. This hybrid role offers remote work with regular onsite presence for training and ongoing collaboration with hiring managers.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, screen resumes, conduct interviews, extend offers, and coordinate onboarding using Paylocity and iCIMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in recruiting, ideally in high-volume or manufacturing.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hybrid role with weekly onsite presence at Poynette, Madison, and Westport facilities during training.
• Ability to conduct structured, competency-based interviews (phone, in-person, video).

Responsibilities

• Recruit candidates using databases, social media, referrals, and job fairs.
• Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews and site tours.
• Schedule tours and supervisor interviews; capture feedback for decisions.
• Coordinate offers with hiring managers and HR to ensure alignment.
• Maintain applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and update staffing status.
• Launch onboarding packages (Paylocity, background checks, drug testing).
• Identify process improvements and share best practices across centers.
• Attend staffing meetings to align on start dates and hiring needs.
• Provide recruiting reports and KPIs; suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Marketing Communications to craft compelling postings.
• Promote the company brand and act as Brand Ambassador in the community.
