Job summary

3HC Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Hybrid HH & Hospice Nurse, RN (PRN) in Kinston, NC. The role requires NC RN licensure, CPR certification, and experience in acute care and hospice settings.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience in acute care
• Experience with terminally ill patients preferred
• CPR (BCLS) certification must be current
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, physicians and the public
• Dependable with professional demeanor and tact in interactions

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled nursing care per physician's plan of treatment
• Coordinate hospice services per agency policies and goals
• Complete OASIS documentation as required
• Educate and support patients and families about care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
