Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an HEOR Analyst III to join the Health Economics and Market Access Data and Analytics team in a hybrid role based in Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA.

You will assist with reimbursement and policy analyses, build economic models, and support data tools for business units. Strong SQL, data analysis, and collaboration skills are essential. Hybrid work requires three days on site per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health economics or related field.
• 2+ years of work experience in the healthcare industry (preferably with medical claims data).
• Intermediate or advanced SQL programming and data analysis experience.
• Strong analytical skills and detail‑oriented.
• Enthusiastic and self‑motivated.
• Ability to work well in a team environment but can also work independently after initial guidance.
• Time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple internal client‑related priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with government and private payer reimbursement policy research and rate analysis, querying claims data to analyze medical costs and outcomes and support economic modeling for existing and emerging technologies, and analytical support for value‑based contracting opportunities.
• Analyzing large claims data sets and identifying and interpreting patterns and trends in the data to support BSC business needs.
• Preparing financial models and projections, including models that display the impact of interventions and technologies on providers and payers.
• Maintenance of tools, data objects, and reports to support business unit objectives.
• Modifying existing programs to meet additional business requirements.
• Conducting research on government and private payer policies.
• Cultivating and managing relationships with business units and other internal customers, with direct ownership of at least one business unit relationship.
• Project management of analytical projects, including scoping, timeline planning, execution, delivery, customer communications, and presentations.
• Preparing summaries of analyses, including project objectives, approach, and results.
• Adhering to data privacy and regulatory guidelines.
