Jobot is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our civil construction team in Phoenix. You will prepare detailed estimates for concrete, earthwork, and structures, participate in project bidding, and apply value engineering to balance cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil estimating or related role.
• Proficient in concrete, earthwork, and related disciplines.
• Experience in project bidding, value engineering, budgeting and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of dirt estimating and abutment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects (concrete, flatwork, earthwork).
• Participate in project bidding with competitive, accurate bids.
• Use value engineering to optimize cost, quality, and timeline.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
• Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for project profitability.
• Perform dirt estimating and abutment-related tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
