Job summary

Privia Health is seeking an Operations Consultant II to manage a portfolio of independent physician practices across a multi-specialty group. This role requires 70% travel and hybrid onsite work in our Houston office, with regular coordination to meet market goals.

Responsibilities include growth planning, financial performance transparency, and leading workflow improvements to enhance revenue and clinical outcomes while supporting the transition to value-based care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred; advanced healthcare MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience working with physicians and medical groups.
• Experience with a health system preferred.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and explaining financial data.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously; escalate appropriately.
• Strong project management skills, juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Population Health Management and risk-based contracts.
• Must have reliable transportation and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own a portfolio of independent physician practices across a multi-specialty medical group.
• Drive growth and improvement for the portfolio; develop growth plans and manage client relationships to meet market goals.
• Draft and implement action plans to improve and grow physician practices’ revenue.
• Create transparency with practices about their financial performance to drive change.
• Track and manage metrics related to finance, revenue cycle, productivity, clinical performance, and customer experience.
• Re-engineer practice workflows to improve patient throughput or back-office efficiency.
• Mentor and coach practice administrators in physician practice management.
• Facilitate transition from Fee-For-Service to Value Based Care reimbursement.
• Roll out and communicate new Privia initiatives and provide top-notch client service.
• Travel throughout assigned territory on a regular basis (70%).
