Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Continuing Education Program Manager to lead planning, execution, and evaluation of continuing education initiatives for healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and adult learning principles.

Hybrid (in office/remote) work is available after probation. Anticipated salary is $60,800 annually, with opportunities for collaboration across internal and external partners to advance CE programs.

Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in health care, education, or business with increasing responsibility.
• Master’s degree in health care, public health, business or education.
• Previous health care or academic setting experience.
• Coordination/management experience with continuing education projects.
• Experience using learning platforms like eeds, Blackboard, Canvas, etc.
• Grant writing and/or fundraising experience.
• Experience with adult education programs or continuing education programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of accreditation requirements for healthcare professionals.
• Apply accreditation requirements to program development and implementation.
• Ensure documentation reflects accreditation compliance, goals and results.
• Develop and monitor program budgets with planning committee.
• Create event marketing plans to reach participation goals.
• Manage speaker coordination and travel arrangements.
• Oversee post-program closeout and ensure complete files.
• Collaborate with finance to report on program funds.
• Work with CE colleagues and external partners on initiatives.
