Job summary

Becker's Healthcare is seeking a Custom Content Writer & Moderator for its Custom Studios team in Chicago. This hybrid role combines marketing writing, project management for campaigns, and moderator duties across podcasts, webinars, advisory calls and live conferences.

You will translate complex healthcare topics into clear narratives, interview healthcare leaders, edit articles, manage multi-part content projects, and support lead generation for Becker's clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
• Experience writing long-form content (whitepapers, e-books, reports) in B2B or sponsored content.
• Experience editing articles for digital publication.
• Project management experience with multi-stakeholder deadlines.
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry preferred.
• Public speaking or moderating experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with executive leaders.
• Thrives in deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to Becker's conferences, including onsite moderating at live events.

Responsibilities

• Write in-depth custom content for clients, including whitepapers, e-books, executive briefs and Q&As, translating complex healthcare topics and executive insights into clear, compelling narratives.
• Interview client experts and healthcare leaders to gather material for custom content.
• Edit custom articles drafted by contracted writers, ensuring quality, accuracy and alignment with client goals.
• Produce and edit recap articles from Becker's live events.
• Moderate interviews and discussions with healthcare executives at virtual, live and pre-recorded sponsored events.
• Moderate live panel discussions with healthcare executives onsite at Becker's conferences.
• Manage larger, multi-part content projects from kickoff through delivery, including timelines and client feedback rounds.
