Job summary

Desert Oasis Healthcare in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a Healthcare Analyst II to advance analytics architecture, develop predictive models, and support decision-making with robust dashboards and reporting.

You will extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, build reporting pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve contract costs and provider insights using EZCap data and modern BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics/math/statistics or related field.
• 2–3 years in predictive analytics and data mining in healthcare preferred.
• 4–5 years analytics/finance/healthcare experience.
• Advanced Excel and BI tool proficiency (Tableau/Power BI).
• Advanced SQL skills including joins, subqueries, indexes and stored procedures.
• Python or R programming knowledge (intermediate).
• Strong communication and ability to work independently in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Compile and interpret financial data to aid in decision-making.
• Analyze and review contract costs; propose improvements for optimization.
• Model proposed contract changes and reporting for internal/external use.
• Architect and maintain analytics data pipelines and dashboards.
• Develop scripts and logic for automation and reporting.
• Support management with claims/authorization/cases/diagnosis data in EZCap.
• Apply machine learning to build predictive analytics models.
• Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate to create dashboards; ensure report integrity.
• Handle ad-hoc analyses and research requests; be accountable and helpful.
