Banner Health is seeking a senior communications professional to support Banner Plans and Networks with strategic, targeted communications. You will guide leadership on brand-protecting approaches and manage high-visibility messaging across healthcare stakeholders.

The role works closely with executive leaders and finance teams to craft news releases, talking points, fact sheets, social content, and video scripts, aiming to build the Banner brand and expand partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 7–10 years of healthcare public relations experience in a large organization.
• Knowledge of major trends in healthcare and financial dynamics of providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Banner Plans and Networks brand with PR and marketing teams.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership on communication approaches protecting the brand.
• Develop communications plans for programs, initiatives and payer negotiations.
• Support finance team messaging for quarterly MD&A and annual rating agency materials.
• Ensure timely development and execution of plans to achieve goals.
• Identify and resolve issues that could pose reputational risk.
