Job summary

The University of Michigan is seeking a Health Data Analyst to lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of clinical data collection systems, including REDCap-based tools and workflows, for statewide quality improvement initiatives in radiation oncology.

The role requires expertise with large datasets and statistical methods (SAS, Python, Power BI), experience in data visualization, and translating stakeholder needs into technical specifications for end-to-end data

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, or related field and 2 yrs exp with large datasets.
• Experience with SAS or Python and Power BI for analyzing clinical outcomes.
• Ability to draft statistical tests and create data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of clinical data collection systems (REDCap-based).
• Support collection, management, validation, and reporting of complex clinical data for quality initiatives.
• Translate stakeholder needs into detailed technical specs for end-to-end data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on design, testing, and deployment of data collection solutions.
• Serve as SME for clinical registry operations and end-user support.
