Job summary

UW Medicine is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support analytics for Quality, Population Health and Value. This hybrid role combines data programming, reporting and analytics across quality, finance and utilization metrics, using SQL, SSIS/SSRS and BI tools.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in SQL/ETL, BI reporting with Power BI or Tableau, and healthcare data experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a 100% FTE schedule.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS/IS/Data Analytics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with Advanced SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, data modeling and EDW design.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Healthcare data workflow knowledge highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide data programming and analytics supporting physician and leadership reporting.
• Apply SQL and Microsoft BI stack to deliver dashboards and reports.
• Design, code, test, and maintain BI objects and reports.
• Prepare reports from multiple data sources and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop design documents, report inventories, and governance artifacts.
• Create analytical tools to measure value and impact across populations.
• Collaborate across departments to sustain Value-Based Analytics programs.
• Maintain data infrastructure integrity through documentation and best practices.
