Dearborn Group in Downers Grove, IL seeks a claims analyst to analyze, process, and recommend approval or denial of Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness/Specified Disease, and related claims. Under supervision, you will review documentation, apply medical terminology, and maintain high accuracy while delivering customer service.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week.

Qualifications

• High School degree and 2 years of equivalent business/related work experience.
• Good decision-making, problem solving and research skills with ability to analyze complex information.
• PC proficiency to include MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to maintain high level of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsabilités

• Analyze, process, and recommend approval or denial of Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness/Specified Disease, Accident Insurance, Life product claims and weekly income claims.
• Review documentation and verify policy details to support timely decisions.
• Collaborate with the claims team to resolve complex cases and ensure accurate records.
• Maintain accurate case files and communicate decisions clearly to customers.
