Mercer seeks a Sr Health Actuarial Consultant to lead client engagements on health benefits strategy, financial projections, plan design, and renewals. You will direct analysts and interact with clients as the financial contact, in a hybrid setting requiring three days in the office each week.

You will guide data analyses, ensure actuarial soundness, and apply AI-enabled tools across projects. Strong knowledge of Excel/SAS, plus R/Python, and ASA pursuit are valued.

Competenze

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in actuarial field with health and benefits consulting.
• Progress toward ASA designation.
• Client facing experience.
• Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency.

Mansioni

• Lead routine client engagements, managing service delivery, strategy, and financial evaluations.
• Review data analyses by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness.
• Drive AI and technology-enabled tool adoption in projects.
• Perform complex analyses and cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other software.
• Draft and review client reports or presentations with recommended strategies.
