Job summary

A10 Networks, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Hardware Engineer in San Jose to support development, validation, and deployment of new servers. You will collaborate with hardware, software, QA, and manufacturing to ensure testing, configuration, documentation, and lifecycle support.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, lab work, and ability to read hardware specs. We offer a hybrid work model and opportunities to contribute across product lifecycles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with hardware testing, system validation, and server bring-up.
Proficiency with Linux installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Scripting in Python; familiarity with Tera Term.

Responsibilities

Execute hardware and system-level testing for new product introductions.
Perform bring-up, validation, and readiness checks for new hardware platforms.
Install and configure Linux and other required operating systems.
Automate tests using Python and Tera Term scripts.
Troubleshoot, repair, and support sustaining engineering with cross-functional teams.
