Job summary

A10 Networks, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to participate in the development of network system software and architecture. You will work with senior engineers to define features, design infrastructure via CLI and WebUI, and implement management applications.

You will also test, document, and support QA and patch delivery in a hybrid work environment. The role emphasizes strong C/C++ skills, real-time embedded systems knowledge, networking protocols, and familiarity with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ with multithreading and real-time embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux/RTOS environments and embedded platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and common networking protocols.
• Familiarity with licensing technologies in embedded systems is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Google Cloud/OCI.

Responsibilities

• Define functional and design specifications for features with senior engineers.
• Design and implement infrastructure via CLI, WebUI, and management apps.
• Test software with rigorous methodology and automation to ensure coverage.
• Document code and collaborate with documentation team for user guides.
• Support QA in the final testing phase and assist customer support with patches.
