Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems at our Cranberry, PA facility. This hybrid role reports to the Sr. Manager, Control & Information Systems Engineering.

There is no relocation assistance. Travel to customer and supplier sites is possible. The candidate will assist in creating cabinet/panel drawings, wiring schematics, and participate in manufacturing support and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Highly motivated and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Support development of hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet and panel assembly drawings and cable and wiring schematics.
• Support manufacturing of electronic components, cables, and cabinet/panel assemblies.
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
• Support development of component test procedures and execution of functional tests.
• Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues.
• Opportunities to travel to customer and supplier sites (domestic and international).
