Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an electrical hardware engineer with emphasis in digital design. You will join the Product Development team to design high-speed digital circuits, validate implementations, and generate processor pin documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 0-2 years in electrical design, and willingness to travel occasionally. The position is hybrid with a salary grade 5 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 0-2 years of work experience in Electrical Design.
• Familiar with hardware debugging and test equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital circuits to meet section requirements.
• Design circuits using industry standard schematic capture tools.
• Layout implementation of responsible subsection and design complex high-speed signals.
• Perform worst-case analysis of circuits in area of responsibility.
• Generate documentation defining processor pin assignments.
• Develop detailed design documents and test plans.
• Perform failure mode analysis and process documentation.
• Define stress test routines to validate functional sections.
• Interface with other teams and external component suppliers; travel occasionally.
