Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced Electrical/Computer Engineer to design and release automotive electronics. You will capture requirements, perform schematic capture and circuit simulations, and guide production-readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on skills of schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools.
• Experience with RCCA/8D problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with electric/electronic systems and standard lab equipment.
• Familiarity with RS485, UART, CAN, Ethernet communication protocols.
• 5+ years designing automotive electronics.

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical specs.
• Schematic capture, component selection and design release.
• Research concepts and bring to production readiness.
• Perform worst-case design calculations and thermal analysis.
• Collaborate with PCB and mechanical teams to guide layouts.
• Support design validation tests and end-of-line tests.
